This page is all about giving advice on buying a particular franchise either through a video or podcast, and basically creating a sales pitch to any potential franchisee. There are 12 independent video pages and 5 podcast pages.
Both the Podcast and Video pages have YouTube video links with an interview with managers or owners of the different businesses explaining about their business and why potential franchisees should buy their particular business franchise. There is also at the bottom of every podcast and video page, a link back to the FranchiseSales.co.uk website where the relevant franchise is listed.
This section provides an area for franchisors to promote their franchise opportunity to a wider audience as people are much more likely to watch a video or listen to a podcast, than read the franchisors opportunity page of text unless they are seriously interested. This can provide benefits for both the franchisor and franchisee as the franchisor can attract a wider audience and have another form of marketing their franchise. Whilst the franchisee can hear from the franchisor directly what the franchise opportunity is, what would be involved and how the franchisor runs their business.
There are drawbacks that can prove to be an issue, for example, the video could become out of date, which would mean that the franchisor would need to regularly have to update their video or podcast if they have changed aspects of their franchise opportunity which franchisees would need to be aware of.
